COOKING LESSONS What better way to gain more control over your personal and your family’s eating habits than by learning for yourself how to prepare delectable, vegan meals! Vita will be focusing on cooking lessons for groups of 3-10 people in her very own kitchen. The lesson will consist of the following activities: 1. Affirmations/personal reflections on food and health in your life 2. Introduction to the lesson--the food we'll be preparing plus the background and benefit of the various ingredients 3. Hands-on cooking lesson--everyone will touch, chop, smell, stir, taste, and experience the ingredients that we'll be putting together and present the prepared meal 4. Food, Friends and Fellowship--we'll eat together and have a question and answer session over the meal. Members of the class can invite one guest to partake in this segment. It is a way to share the joy of eating to live rather than living to eat.
5. Resources-- handouts will be distributed including a magazine, recipe, list of ingredients and their benefits, etc.
