TESTIMONIALS
Dear Levita,
Thank you very much, again, for your sharing with us last evening about Vegetarian/Vegan cooking and some good information for us to directly apply in our daily nutritional activities. We appreciate your time and talent in our lives and I appreciate your helping me with my questions! Samuel Nixon, Jr., Alfred Street Baptist Church
Hi Rangers, I made the vegetarian chili from your past chat with Levita Mondie-Sapp and while I am not a vegetarian this is a dish that would make any meat eater happy. . .Love your chats - keep up the excellent work!!
Joe: Great news! Levita will be thrilled. from Washington Post Food Section Chat Room
Wow girlfriend you put these recipes in a book and you definitely have a winner. I am waiting for the first copy and the other poster is right, protect your recipes and get them down in print - you have a winner for sure. African Americans need this kind of cooking. The corn bread Is out of this world delicious!!!!! The chili was fabulous. Thank you for showing me a different and healthier way to cook. Leave a message on this board letting us know you hear us and will work on that book - SOON!!!

Hi Levita,
Emily and I just read the article about you in the Post and we are impressed. Of course, we know first hand how good your food is! I can't wait to try your sweet potato recipe. Levita, you look beautiful in both pictures and I hope your dream of a bricks and mortar place comes true. Carol Boland, Maret School Parent
Dear Bonnie:
What a wonderful surprise to see the article today about Levita's cooking.
I knew Levita when I worked in the English Dept at UMD and she was a grad
student. She was an intelligent, lovely woman who was deeply affected by
the death of her mother. I'm so glad to see her receive the attention she
so deserves. All my best to her. Betty Wineke
